keep wicks trimmed at 1/4" for optimal burning, when wick is too long you will find soot on the sides of your container and it will burn much faster. Burn at least 1-2 hours at minimum or until the whole top of the candle has a melt pool. Extinguish candle after 3-4 hours and trim wick to get the longest life from your candle. When candle reaches near the bottom of the container extinguish before wax is completly gone to prevent container from breaking.
